Policy and Law Reform Work
One focus of the Foundation's work is reform of policy and law. The Foundation continues Sheldon Chumir's work as a legally-trained community activist on public policy issues who believed passionately in law as the on-going expression of our democratic form of government.
We engage with the public to bring intelligent and thoughtful discourse to all concerned citizens about good governance and public policy making.
The Foundation may aim at policy reform within its focus areas. It may inititate various types of activities it sees as important to raise public discussion and/or advocate for good governance and public policy making.
